This program is a particularly challenging assignment with the number of quality standards, audits, processes, and other areas that needed active development this year. She has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and she has pulled the team together, and led us through the aforementioned developments. She has thrived in a year full of challenges!

Michelle Hawkins partnered with her engineering colleagues and Missile Defense Agency counterparts to successfully lead the requirements applicability matrix (RAM) negotiations. Together, Michelle and her counterparts executed a series of 11 sessions within 2 weeks to review over 68 requirements that tailored the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions (MAP) to the program scope. Collaboration included over 10 participants and at least 5 MDA participants --[this]could not have been accomplished without Michelle's engagement of the entire Program Integration Team (PIT). She leveraged her expert facilitation skills and customer relationship focus to help ensure MDA understood which MAP requirements should apply to the design and ensured we understood how those requirements would impact the way we will perform work going forward. She took this effort seriously and ensured it positioned the program squarely for execution. In doing so, she also helped forge a solid relationship with the program and the MDA team that will serve us all well moving forward.

Michelle had demonstrated she has excellent leadership abilities. She had to "hit the floor running" since the program was behind schedule and overrun in cost. Michelle learned quickly her responsibilities with little or no supervision. Michelle was also proactive in developing Tableau training, and provided training for QA personnel, which was well received.
